About AstroVedhic
AstroVedhic is a Vedic astrology (Jyotish) app made in India. It calculates your kundli, the daily panchang, rashifal and festival dates, and an AI jyotishi explains them in Hinglish, Hindi or English — calmly, in plain words.
Our own calculation engine
Every planet position comes from our own engine, which reads NASA JPL's DE442 planetary ephemeris — the same data astronomers use. On top of it we apply the classical Vedic rules: the Lahiri ayanamsa, whole-sign houses, Vimshottari dasha, and the panchang at local sunrise. Festival and vrat dates are checked against published panchangs such as Drik Panchang; the details and the real test numbers are on the How we calculate page.
What is free
Your kundli (Moon sign, nakshatra, lagna and running dasha) without a login, the daily, weekly and monthly rashifal for all 12 signs, the panchang with Rahu Kaal and choghadiya, festival and vrat dates, shubh muhurat dates, the Sade Sati check and rashi-based Kundli Milan. Detailed personal readings and longer answers are paid; the price is always shown before you pay, and nothing renews by itself unless you choose autopay.
The AI jyotishi
Answers in the app are written by an AI jyotishi from your chart's calculated facts — it is always labelled as AI and never claims to be a person. Dates and periods in an answer come from the engine, not from the AI. The AI never receives your name, birth date, birth time or birth place.
How we write
Jyotish shows tendencies and timing; the choices stay yours. We do not sell fear, invent urgency, show made-up reviews or user numbers, or push costly remedies — the upay we suggest are simple and optional. For health, money and legal matters, please also talk to a doctor, an adviser or a lawyer.
Languages
Hinglish, Hindi and English everywhere; the daily rashifal also in Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and Bengali.
Contact
Questions, payments or complaints: the Contact page and the in-app help desk (Sahayata).
