Money in the kundli — how dhan yoga and its timing are read
Wealth in a chart is about patterns that support earning and saving, and about when they become active. Here is the classical reading — without tips or shortcuts.
1. The 2nd and 11th houses
The 2nd house is savings, family wealth and speech; the 11th is income and gains. The 5th and 9th (intelligence and fortune) support them, and the lagna lord shows the person's own drive.
2. Dhan yogas and Jupiter
A dhan yoga is formed when the lords of the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 9th and 11th houses join, aspect or exchange signs. Jupiter is the karaka of wealth and wisdom; its strength adds to these yogas.
Dasha first, gochar second
Classical astrologers time an event mainly by the Vimshottari dasha: the mahadasha, antardasha and pratyantar of planets linked to the house in question. Gochar (the transit of Jupiter and Saturn over that house, its lord or the Moon) then narrows the years to months. A good transit without a supporting dasha is read as a smaller opening; both together as a clearer one.
3. What astrology does not do
A chart does not pick shares, lottery numbers or bets, and AstroVedhic does not answer such questions. For investments and loans, please speak to a qualified financial adviser.
How AstroVedhic answers this
Our engine reads your whole chart — lagna, houses, lords, karakas, the running dasha down to pratyantar and the transits — on NASA JPL data. An answer starts with what is running now, then the better months of the next twelve, with the reason behind them. The dates come from the calculation, never from the AI that words the answer.
Questions
- Which planet brings money?
- No single planet: Jupiter is the karaka of wealth, but the lords of your 2nd and 11th houses and the dasha running decide when money matters move.
- Can I check this without an exact birth time?
- Partly. Without the time the lagna and the dasha dates are uncertain, so the houses are counted from the Moon sign and only the broad picture is read. A birth time checked against a few past events makes the months much sharper — the app has such a check.
